I pull up my sleeves to reassure of no tricks Then I produce a pack of cards in my hand with a swift wave of the other I fan it out in a small theatrical flourish
Meanwhile, I itch my nose; a sneeze coming on I exaggerate a sneeze, producing a coin from under my nostril "Only a quarter. I'll keep it for later." It earns a few laughs, but on to the trick
